Amanda spent her entire childhood—and much of her adult life—feeling UNunhappy without knowing why.
That changed when she discovered Happy for No Reason by Marci Shimoff. Through the book and certified training program, Amanda learned that happiness is not just a fleeting emotion—it’s a skill and a habit that anyone can develop. Today, she experiences happiness most of the time and finds great joy in sharing these simple, practical principles with others who want to elevate their own well-being.
Amanda customizes her seminars to fit the needs of each audience and the time available. With over 30 years of experience in the business world, she’s especially passionate about bringing more happiness into the workplace. In addition to group sessions, she offers one-on-one coaching, both virtually via Zoom and in-person.

I really enjoyed your class last week. It was thorough and easy to follow. For instance, one of my favorite takeaways was that our habits can either increase or decrease our happiness. That is huge. Do we react negatively when something bad happens? That is, do we jump in to either blame, shame, complain? Feeling awful afterwards? Or, do we look for the lesson in the occurrence? If so, a beautiful byproduct could be that we genuinely feel peaceful, strengthening our being “Happy for No Reason”.
